My goal (or mission) when I started this website a little over a week ago was simple.  I told myself, God, and my girlfriend that I wanted to help one person.  I prayed to God earnestly and searched my soul to ensure that I didn’t have any ulterior motives.  I could not find one.

“If I can just help one person,” I said to her, I have accomplished something great!   It seems that I have helped not only one, but also myself tremendously in recovery and spirituality.

I have received many emails and messages –  from complete strangers that have encouraged me to continue on.  I have heard some very tragic stories in the brief week and also some inspiring stories!  My heart is overwhelmed joy.

Pretty neat to see visitors from as far away as Australia and Alaska – and they return.  So, it may not seem like much, but 129 people following out there so far means the world to me.  Thank you!

I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, (Philippians 1:3-5)

  1. On your about page you wrote “And who I am is a man blessed by alcoholism.” That is EXACTLY how I feel about my own. It has been a long time since my last drink, and hopefully and through a heck of a lot of hard work, I figure I won’t ever pick up the next one. I was given a link to you by LarryPaulBrown of Quest. and I am grateful to him for the link. I no longer identify as a “Christian”…instead I follow the way. and I am now following your blog.

    1. Wow Suze (and thanks, Larry) that is awesome! Wouldn’t it be nice if we had our church leaders on “speed dial” like we do our sponsors? Just a thought to “chew on”. Thanks for following me!
